The EmergIT graduate programme opens Autumn 2026.
If you have a degree, a business idea, and the drive to build it—this is what we have been building towards. Register your interest now and we will contact you the moment applications open.
This is not a grant scheme. This is a co-founder relationship.
Every graduate accepted onto the EmergIT programme receives:
- A £5,000 grant paid in two milestone-based tranches—£2,000 on milestone one, £3,000 on milestone two
- A genuine co-founder relationship—active, involved, and invested in your success
- AI tools and platform access from day one
- A peer cohort of graduates building at the same time
- Mentor connections to experienced founders and professionals
- A structured milestone framework that turns your idea into a trading business
In return, EmergIT takes a small revenue share from your venture once it is trading. This is agreed transparently at the start of the programme, is time-limited, and is completely separate from the grant.
Any UK graduate with a real idea and the drive to build it.
You do not need a specific degree subject. You do not need a minimum grade. You do not need to have graduated recently. You do not need prior business experience.
Who can apply.
You need a degree. You need to be unemployed or underemployed. You need a business idea—it does not have to be fully formed, but it has to be real. And you need to be based in the UK. That is it. Everything else we can work with.
Applications open Autumn 2026. Register now.
Registering your interest takes two minutes and costs you nothing. It means:
- You will be notified the moment applications open—48 hours before the general public
- You will receive occasional updates as the programme develops—when the platform is live, when the grant is secured, when the application window is confirmed
- You will not be bombarded with emails. Every message we send will be worth reading.
You do not need a finished business plan to register. You do not need to be certain. You just need to think this might be for you.
Autumn 2026 Application
You might be right for the founding sprint instead.
If you have a degree in business, law, technology, finance, or marketing—and you are ready to commit 15 hours a week to building EmergIT itself during a 6-month sprint—we are recruiting right now.
The founding sprint.
The founding sprint is a different opportunity to the graduate programme. You would be building EmergIT, not your own venture. But if the sprint succeeds, you become a full-time, salaried Executive Director of the organisation that launches in Autumn 2026.
